Dear Residents,
We want to inform you that this past week, Global Medical Response (GMR), the parent company of Rural Metro Fire Department, has sold Rural Metro Fire to Brindlee Fire Services, a fire industry company based in Alabama which provides fire department support services.
This transition allows GMR to concentrate on its core mission of providing air and ground emergency medical services.
As this transition unfolds and the Town will receive more details from the new owners/leadership at Brindlee Fire Services, we will keep you updated regarding any impact to our fire service and the ambulance service in Carefree.
