The Town of Carefree is soliciting the services of qualified Proposers to audit its financial statements for five (5) consecutive fiscal years beginning in Fiscal Year 2024/2025 (June 30, 2025) and ending in Fiscal Year 2029/2030 (June 30, 2030). These audits are to be performed in accordance with the provisions contained in this document and state law.

The Town of Carefree desires the auditor to express an opinion on the fair presentation of its general purpose financial statements and the combining and individual fund and account group financial statements in conformity with general accepted accounting principles to include the Town and the Carefree Municipal Court annually beginning with FY 2024-2025. In addition, the Town of Carefree desires the auditor to express an opinion on the Annual Expenditure Limitation Report, and UCFD/Water Company Report.
