October’s theme is Timeless Treasures...
In honor of the Town's 40th anniversary, Timeless Treasures celebrates both the enduring spirit of Carefree and the timeless quality of the art displayed in our galleries. Expect to find pieces that capture the history, heritage, and heart of our community, from classic desert landscapes to contemporary expressions of local culture.
Enjoy an Unveiling with Thunderbirds Artists Gallery...Marilyn and Terry Alexander, renowned for their steel and fused glass sculptures, are excited to unveil their latest creation at Carefree Art Night on October 17. Standing 11 feet tall, Mariposa showcases a fresh design that highlights the 'softer side of steel.' The sculpture will be displayed outside the Thunderbird Artists Gallery, where the Alexanders are the featured artists for the season opener. Join us from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a special unveiling at 5 p.m., followed by themed refreshments as we celebrate this stunning new work.
