In recent years, the Town has undertaken several safety enhancements at pedestrian crossings near the Town Center. Over the next few months, the final phase of these improvements will focus on the mid-block crosswalks at Tom Darlington Drive, specifically at Wampum Way and Ridgeview Place, as well as at Cave Creek Road and Tom Darlington Drive. Construction activity is set to begin next week, July 15th.
During this construction phase, we kindly request your cooperation in adhering to restrictions to ensure the safety of construction workers and other vehicles in the area. Completion of this work is expected by the end of September.
Funding for these pedestrian safety enhancements is being provided in part by a grant from the Maricopa Association of Governments and the Town’s Capital Improvement Program.
