The 2024 Primary Election is just around the corner, scheduled for Tuesday, July 30, 2024. It's crucial to make sure your voice is heard, and here's how you can prepare:

Register to Vote:

  • Ensure you're registered before the deadline on Monday, July 1, 2024. You can register online at ServiceArizona.com

    or obtain a hard copy form from the Town Clerk's Office or Maricopa County Recorder's offices during business hours.

Request Early Ballots:

  • Make sure you are signed up to receive an Early Ballot! The deadline for requests, if you are not signed up, is July 19, 2024. Early voting ballots will be mailed out starting Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Sign in to your Vote Dashboard at Elections.Maricopa.Gov

    to register for the Active Early Voting list.

Vote In-Person:

  • If you prefer in-person voting, the Town of Carefree will have a polling location available at the Council Chambers, 33 Easy Street, starting 12 days before the Primary on July 30th. Additionally, a secure Ballot Drop Box will be accessible at Town Hall, 8 E. Sundial Circle in Carefree. Find out about alternative polling locations at Elections.Maricopa.Gov

Forwarding Ballots/Absentee Voting:

  • If you're away from your residence during the election, remember that Arizona law prohibits forwarding official election materials like ballots. To arrange for your ballot to be sent to a temporary mailing address, contact the Maricopa County elections team at (602) 506-1511
