Lately we have been seeing (and hearing!) too much or aerobatics and random fly-overs from Sky Ranch. It is loud, disturbing, and very polluting. When they fly over our Carefree Shadows, I can smell fuel jet in the air, needless to mention noise that by far is a lot worse than any weekend motorcycles. Yet we have DB restriction, so we need to enforce it the air as much as on the ground. The private planes must be limited to a certain hours and to take off and landing path to the east. Fly far enough, reach high altitude and then divert the course. No aerobatics and circles over Carefree and quiet open spaces south of Stage Coach where we go hiking.

It appears that we don't have a sound unpaved trail system. Residents have to walk on the roads. There is a sufficient right-of-way to create an unpaved compacted foot path for us- residents, not for weekend bicycles from out of town. There are foot trails east of Rolling Hills (Scottsdale), it would be great to continue the trail along Cave Creek all the way to the west part of Carefree and town centre.
Another missing link: connections to the Tonto Natl Forest north of Desert Mtn and east to new Sonoran- McDowell Preserve.
As new, younger residents come to our Town, it is important to accommodate healthy active lifestyles. We don't need paved sidewalks that destroy knee joints, we need natural trails.
