Act Now! Deadlines for Community Input on the General Plan Update are Just Around the Corner!

Dear Carefree Community Members,
We hope this message finds you well and keeping cool. We would like to share with you an update on the Town’s General Plan process. This is an important planning document that will is used to guide and manage the town's vision over the next 10-20 years. Topics in the General Plan include land use, circulation, water resources, open space, and other topics that are vital to our community's future.
State Law requires the General Plan to be reviewed by the Town Council and ratified by voters of Carefree. To ensure our plan is reflective of all members in our community and their needs and aspirations, we would like to invite you to provide your input on the General Plan Update Workshops #1 - #3 before the end of July, and all feedback is due for Workshop #4 by August 31, 2023. Your feedback is essential in shaping our town's future direction!
