Historic Spanish Village

Historic SPANISH VILLAGE (HSV) is one of the most picturesque and historic landmark properties in Arizona, with a unique history and identity that has maintained its appeal and deep local loyalty for decades.

Located in the heart of Downtown Carefree along whimsical Ho Hum Road, its one of the first buildings constructed in Carefree in 1969, and remains a cultural and art hub. Historically the grounds have seen the likes of Carefree's founders Tom Darlington and K.T. Palmer, as well as other famous celebrities.

Artists such as world-renowned pumpkin carver Ray Villafane and master glass artist Peggy Pettigrew-Stewart have made HSV their home.
